This is also supported by the fact that the Apple Store has had no iPhone inventory for weeks. Additionally good news would be the rumored subsidized pricing for the 3G iPhone.

The most likely specifications of the 3G iPhone would include Tri-band HSDPA, A-GPS, slimmer and longer battery life.
