Apple marketing needs to do a good job to explain the value of the new MobileMe service, because Apple wants at least $99 per year from you for it.
The Apple site is featuring more new content on MobileMe than for the iPhone 3G. That is very understandable as the iPhone 3G will sell itself for the $199, but MobileMe needs to get rid of the not so successful .Mac history.

MobileMe delivers push email, push contacts and push calendars from the MobileMe service in the "cloud" to native applications on iPhone, iPod touch, Macs and PCs.
MobileMe also provides a suite of elegant, ad-free web applications that deliver a desktop-like experience through any modern browser.
