InFocus announced two new projector series’ today called the IN3100 and IN1100. The two projectors are hailed as the first multimedia projectors to embed DisplayLink innovations allowing people to project video and presentations from computers with nothing but a USB connection.
InFocus says the new projectors include the DisplayLink Auto Install feature which puts needed software onto laptops or desktops when they are connected to the projector. The DisplayLink multi-display capability also allows the projector to be easily shared between multiple computers.
"Together, we've tapped the power of USB to simplify the digital projection experience - delivering both flawless image transmission and practically instant connection," said Hamid Farzaneh, DisplayLink president and CEO. "The new InFocus projectors are an exceptional addition to the lineup of monitors, docks and USB graphics adapters that use our connection technology too."
