The Sony HMP-A1 is now available through japanese Gadget Exporters Dynamism and AudioCubes for $699.00.

This is another product to be one of the first owners outside of Japan. We reported about the new Sony HMP-A1 PVR in May the first time. The HMP-A1 measures 129.6×75.6×22 mm and weighs 250g. The HMP-A1 has a 3.5" TFT screen and this Sony player also supports MP3, in contrast to the Sony VGF-AP1. The HMP-A1 supports MPEG Video standards.
