Matsushita plans to mass produce 37 inch OLED TVs in three years.
Matsushita is supposed to be the first company to achieve the ability to mass produce 37 inch OLED panels by then.
The report about Matsushita's OLED plans are from the Japanese newspaper Sankei Shimbun and not confirmed officially.
Three years is a long time and Sony, Samsung, and others are working on larger OLED displays as well. The race is still undecided.
Sony has been selling the XEL-1 OLED TV since last Christmas. At 11 inches it is just a desk toy for executives. Amazon sells the Xel-1 for $2,499.99.
