Most fans of shooters for the PC and game consoles are familiar with the Call of Duty franchise. The latest game in the franchise is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and is by most accounts one of the best multiplayer shooters ever.
Activision has announced the next installment in the franchise and it will be called Call of Duty: World at War. The new game will go back to the WWII roots of the franchise and re-define the WWII experience according to Activision.
The game will introduce a new enemy, new tactics, and an uncensored experience in WWII combat. Players will be able to enjoy co-op battles with up to four players online. As player’s level up and gain experience the title will change its difficulty. Call of Duty: World at War is set to ship this fall for PS3, Xbox, and PC.
