As you know it is Bill Gates last week at Microsoft. Microsoft PR is pushing out all kinds of material to mark this historic event. I am actually quite thrilled with what Bill Gates may achieve by going full-time into the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Iconic Albuquerque Photo was taken back in 1978 before MS moved to Washington.
30 years later they gathered all employees again to re-shoot the photo (see it below).
Actually all but Gates left Microsoft by the mid-1990s. None of them knew how big Microsoft was going to get, except maybe Gates.
The photos show: Front row (left to right): Bill Gates, Andrea Lewis, Marla Wood, and Paul Allen.
Middle row: Bob O'Rear, Bob Greenberg, Marc McDonald, and Gordon Letwin.
Back row: Steve Wood, Bob Wallace, and Jim Lane. Not pictured is Miriam Lubow.
More details on the Microsoft site.
