Sony PS3 Console to utilize 65nm RSX Chips this Fall

Sony's Kaz Hirai let out some details about the state of the cost cutting of the Sony PS3 hardware.
Sony has been shipping PS3 consoles with a 65nm Cell CPU since the last holiday shopping season. The original Cell was still using 90nm technology.
This Fall the Sony PS3 consoles will also feature 65nm RSX Chips.
The RSX graphics chips are developed with NVIDIA and are currently still on 90nm technology.
More details on Next-Gen. Sony also announced a new service for the PS3 dubbed Life with Playstation.
