Motion computing has announced that its semi-rugged C5 MCA and F5 Table PC have received upgrades and have new peripherals available. The C5 now has integrated mobile broadband connectivity and optional SSD storage.
Standard storage capacity on both of the systems has increased to 80 GB at no additional charge. New peripherals were added to the accessory lists as well including Motion Mobile Dock stations for charging and a Motion Flex Carry solution for alternate carry and holding methods. The Motion tablet PCs also now ship with Windows Vista Business.
"Motion understands mobile workforces and we are focused on improving productivity across a broad range of environments, from the patient bedside to the construction site," said Mike Stinson, VP of Marketing at Motion. "Customer feedback is a critical part of improving our tablet PCs, and based on recent input we're confident that these upgrades will enable our target customers to be more productive, no matter where work takes them."
