NTT DoCoMo sells first 3G Smart-Card Phone F900iC

NTT DoCoMo continues to push smart-card enabled mobile phones in Japan.
The latest is the F900iC a 3G mobile phone that will support the i-mode FeliCa Service for mobile wallet applications.
We reported about previous NTT Smart-Card phone releases: P506iC and SH506iC.
DoCoMo's smart card service currently can be used for train travel, debit card (electronic money) and credit card-based withdrawals and transactions, and personal identification.
The F900iC features an auto focus CCD camera with 1.28 mega-pixel resolution and a 2.4-inch (QVGA) main LCD with 262,144-color TFT. It measures 104 x 51 x 26 mm and weighs 128g. Of course it features a mini-SD card slot.
It will go on sale in Japan on August 7th.
