It looks like Apple is really not happy with the Rogers iPhone 3G pricing in Canada. AppleInsider reports that Apple Stores in Canada will not sell the iPhone 3G this Friday.
Apple apparently does not want to support Rogers and Fido in getting customers to sign the steep priced 3-year contract for the iPhone 3G.
The information is not set in stone as some Apple Stores seem not sure yet if they going to sell the iPhone 3G on Friday. There are already 50,000 supporters of the anti-Rogers campaign on ruinediphone.
Maybe this move by Apple will have some impact and Rogers will rethink the pricing a bit.
More details on AppleInsider.
