If you go to a party or sporting event odds are you will see someone shooting pictures with their camera phone. The good part about a camera phone is that we almost always have our phone on us allowing us to take pictures at any moment. The bad part about camera phones is that the cameras in them tend to be subpar.
Wirefly.com did a survey that shows the camera phone is becoming the camera of choice for many adults. The survey says that 63.8% of adult’s age 18 to 30 say they use the cell phone camera at least once per week and 26.3% say they use it daily.
The survey also shows that 73.5% of adults 18-30 assign photo IDs to people in the address book. Of the users polled 96.3% own a cell phone with a camera and 19% of adults use the cell phone as their primary camera. 38.6% of photos taken on cell phones are sent to friends via MMS.
