We are about 30 minutes into the Microsoft E3 2008 briefing and we have seen several demos of upcoming first person shooters. The demos highlight co-op gaming capabilities via Xbox Live.

The games shown so far include Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2 and Fable II.
The games look better every year and they have more cool features, but nothing revolutionary.

The Xbox Live downloads are more and more dominated by movie and TV show downloads.

The Xbox Live gets a new interface in 3D with avatars this Fall.

Microsoft partnered with Netflix exclusively on Xbox Live. This is a pretty powerful offering.

Lips, new Guitar Hero and Rock Band 2 cover the music game side of the Xbox 360 in Fall.
