More Notebooks and PCs News
RingCube Technologies has announced that it and MXI Security have teamed up to bring MojoPac Enterprise to users on MXI Securities Stealth MXP Biometric USB drive. The product will let users carry their applications and full desktop environment on a USB drive and access it on any computer anywhere.
The MXI flash drive adds high levels of protection to the virtual workspace by utilizing 2-factor biometric authentication and AES 256-bit encryption. The product will allow users to safely and securely access any data and programs from a custom windows desktop without fear of losing the flash drive and the data getting into the wrong hands.
"Workers who travel from office to office or between the office and home like the convenience of having their personal desktop computing environment available in different locations without actually having to carry their notebook around. One solution for these workers is a virtual desktop that runs off a USB flash or hard drive. This gives users a portable personality containing all their applications, data and preferences, delivered in a familiar work environment and available offline on any PC," said Leslie Fiering, Research Vice President, Gartner. "It is critical that organizations secure the virtual desktop environment with encryption, strong authentication and host security checks to verify that the host is secure and trusted before the user can login."
