Love it or hate it there is no denying that Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto is one of the biggest franchises in all of gaming. Rockstar announced a new GTA title that will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo DS this winter called Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Rockstar says that the game is an entirely original game in the GTA series and adds new interactivity and large environments that are open. Using the DS touchscreen players will navigate through streets and uncover the truth behind the tale of crime and corruption inside the Triad crime syndicate.
"This is a game that will deliver a rich, fast-paced and intense 'Grand Theft Auto' experience that will be truly unique to Nintendo's handheld platform," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "Rockstar Leeds, along with the team at Rockstar North, has built upon a decade of progressive design on Grand Theft Auto, and has created something fundamentally fresh and immersive."
