The new Panasonic Lumix 10.1MP DMC-FX37 comes with a 25mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC lens and 5x optical zoom (equivalent to 25mm to 125 mm on a 35mm film camera), which captures almost double the viewing space at the same shooting distance compared to ordinary 35mm cameras.

Other features of the Lumix FX37 include new AF Tracking function in iA (intelligent auto) mode, 25 scene modes, face detection with up to 15 faces, up to ISO 6400 sensitivity, 4x digital zoom, and a 2.5 inch screen.

Measurements of the FX37 are 94.7 x 51.9 x 22.0 mm.
The DMC-FX37 will be available in silver, black, blue, pink, white and brown. No pricing and release information available yet.
