LG Innotek is manufacturing new LCD displays for mobile phones that are much more compact as they almost get rid of the frame around the visible display.
LG calls these new displays mold-less. Currently the company produces 2.2 by 2.4 inch moldless displays.
LG Innotek will start mass production on 2.8 inch mold-less displays soon.
