Digitimes reports that Intel is supposedly launching the Nehalem-based Bloomfield processors earlier than planned.
Intel was scheduled to release the Bloomfield CPUs in December. Now the rumored launch date is September with CPUs and motherboards actually appearing in the channel in October.
Bloomfield CPUs are not socket compatible with former Intel platforms, so it is going to be a whole new play. Nehalem based motherboards have been shown already at the Computex 2008.
