Owners of the Logitech Squeezebox can now get access to free radio from Pandora. The free service is available to owners of the Logitech Squeezebox Duet, Logitech Squeezebox, and Logitech transporter. Logitech says that it is the first network music player maker to provide Pandora access at no additional charge.
The Squeezebox players from Logitech allow you to listen to music in any room of your home. The players use Wi-Fi to connect to wireless networks in the home and play your personal digital music library and more.
"With more than 15 million listeners, Pandora is playing the lead role in popularizing Internet radio," said Robin Selden, vice president and general manager of the Logitech Streaming Media business unit. "And while Pandora has been available in the past on Squeezebox players as a subscription service obtained through our Internet-based SqueezeNetwork(TM), we're delighted to now be able to enhance SqueezeNetwork and include this great radio service for anyone who owns a Logitech network music player."
