Apple informs on their MobileMe Status blog that the email issue is finally resolved. As reported 1% of MobileMe users where without email for several days. The service was gradually restored over the unbelievable long period of 11 days.

The whole MobileMe ordeal was very bad for Apple. It triggered all kinds of bad press including headlines like "Has Apple bitten off more than it can chew?" (The Guardian), "Apple Slammed for Ongoing MobileMe Crisis" (Wired News), "Apple’s MobileMess" (NY Times).
