LG announces that they will commence mass-production of environmentally friendly 13.3 inch notebook display panels this month.

The new LCD panels are halogen-free, meaning that the concentration of Bromine (Br) and chlorine (Cl) got dramatically reduced in these panels.
LG already got certifications from outside organizations confirming their halogen-free claim.
