Doro ip700wifi VoIP Handset Launches

Swedish company Doro has introduced a new mobile VoIP handset for people looking to make low-cost calls over broadband networks. The device is called the Doro ip700wifi and it can be used at Wi-Fi hotspots around the world.
The handset supports 802.11b networks and provides reliable, encrypted communication over the wireless network. The handset is based on the latest data and voice technology called SIP 2.0, and can support several SIP accounts allowing for home and work numbers. The handset can automatically logon wireless networks and can search the area for wireless networks.
The ip700wifi also features a color display, vibration signal, and more than 10 language options. The phone's internal telephone directory can store 100 numbers. The handset is available now at a cost of around SEK 1,400 or about $225 USD.
