Criterion Games announced today that its platinum selling game Burnout Paradise would be available to download on the PlayStation network in the US directly from the PlayStation store for $29.99 this fall. Criterion says that the downloadable version of Burnout Paradise will incorporate all recent changes and updates the studio has made to the game.
Criterion also says that the first free download is available now for Burnout Paradise and adds three new game modes, new cars, and 70 new multi-part challenges. The free updated is said to add hours of new gameplay and introduces a new live news page for players who can track their game progress and get news on upcoming online events.
The biggest downloaded is still coming this fall, with an update that will add trophy support and motorcycles free of charge. Burnout Paradise is a fantastic game, and easily one of best to hit the PS3 and a long time. It's great that Criterion is giving free downloadable content; similar content for Motorstorm carries a price tag.
