When I was a kid, my cousins and I played our fair share of Dungeons & Dragons. We tended to find isolated places to play because we didn't want mom looking on as we hacked our way through ogres and other such nonsensical creatures. Then there was the real reason -- we didn't want any of the cute girls in the neighborhood to know we actually played the game.
The problem was my cousin was very attached to his Dungeons & Dragons rulebook and was known to scream like a little girl if we placed it on the ground. What we needed was something like The Cutting Table No. 1 from Birkiland. The table is made from corrugated cardboard and all the various parts store inside the tabletop when not in use.
The manufacturer says the table is light and sturdy and was designed to meet the needs of the traveling clothing designer or students. The table has three drawers and his airplane safe when stowed. You might think what is basically a bunch of cardboard would be cheap, and you'd be wrong. The table sells for $399 and measures 150 x 120 x 93 cm.
