Bethesda Softworks announced today that the much-anticipated videogame Fallout 3 would be available to purchase online and in stores in America on October 28th and in Europe on October 31st. The game is slated to be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Games for Windows platforms.
Fallout 3 is described as one of the most realized game worlds ever created. The game is set 200 years after a nuclear war and allows you to create any character you want to explore the open wastes of Washington DC. While exploring players battle Super Mutants, Ghouls, Raiders, and other dangers. Fallout 3 was a big hit at E3 this year.
"We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. "To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year."
