Canon Launches E1 Compact Camera

Canon launched a new compact digital camera today called the PowerShot E1. The camera features 10-megapixels with a 4x optical zoom and image stabilization. The E1 also has face detection and Easy mode.
The camera comes in three colors including -- white, blue, and pink. Seventeen different shooting modes are available to users and the camera gets power from a pair of AA batteries. The LCD is 2.5-inches and the camera uses a DIGIC III image processor. Availability for the E1 is mid-September with a price of $199.99.
