SteelSeries Announces iron.lady Siberia Headset

The woman PC gamer is finally getting her due with gaming products designed specifically for her. SteelSeries is right at the top of the lady gamer movement with tons of pink gear specifically for the ladies.
SteelSeries unveiled a new Siberia full-size headset in pink that will be used by the female gaming team Les Seules. SteelSeries says that women make up 40% of the gaming population and females over 18 play almost twice as much as males under 17. The headset will ship in Q4 2008 for $79.99.
"Female gamers are having a significant impact on the gaming industry and are influencing how we design our products," said Bruce Hawver, CEO of SteelSeries. "We're excited to introduce our professional gaming products to the growing female audience and players. Whether they chose to use our signature black and white products or chose to distinguish themselves with pink, gamers know that SteelSeries designs the best tools to compete with to win."
