I have seen my share of solar chargers for all sorts of USB gadgets. Most of them are smallish boxy devices devoid of any cool factor. If you want a solar charger that is different, the PhotonSynthese is the ticket.
The bonsai looking tree is made from a series of section of different lengths and shapes that connect together with connectors that look like headphone connectors. The leaves of the tree are solar panels.
The tree has 53 solar panels and exactly how much power it could generate is a mystery. Under the plastic lid, covering the base is where the cables for the chargers to your gadgets store. Right now, the tree is a design project only. I am betting it is something that could be sold though. It looks cool.
