Google Chrome Browser impact on Mozilla explained by John Lilly

The Google Chrome Download launch is imminent and the web is going crazy over Google Chrome and it's possible impact. I am still against a new web browser, but it is a power play that will take place no matter what. John Lilly CEO of Mozilla Corporation already blogged about how he sees Google Chrome impacting Mozilla.
First of all he welcomes more competition. Firefox 3 is an incredible great browser says John Lilly and 3.1 will be even better.
The major difference for Mozilla is its public-benefit and non-profit orientation that Google tries to make you believe it is too, but it is not.
