The Google Chrome Browser is available for download now. The extremely hyped new web browser is in beta now and is based on the same rendering engine as Apple Safari.
The Google Chrome Press conference is still going on, but the Chrome download pages are live now. You can download Chrome on the Google Gears site.

Google Chrome browser is based on Webkit and will include Google Gears and a Javascript engine called V8.
The Chrome browser features tabs above the menu and address bar that visually stands out.
Google announced the Chrome browser through a comic book on Monday.
The attention for the Google browser is extremely high and for sure millions of web users will at least try out the Chrome browser. Do we need yet another web browser? I do not, but it makes sense for Google to offer its own browser and push all their application and services through it to offer a complete experience.
