iSkin has announced a new protective covering for the iPhone 3G that is form fitting and provides a high-gloss covering. The iSkin solo totally encapsulated the iPhone 3G and protects the phone from impact, scratches, dirt, dust and other hazards.

The front of the solo has a touch compatible clear protective screen to protect the screen from scratches and provides complete access to the iPhone controls. The solo skin comes in black, red, blue, and white colors. The case will retail for $29.99.

iSkin says that the form fitting design doesn't add much bulk to the phone. I am betting that like all other iPhone cases the slight bulk added by the solo will mean the included dock for the iPhone won't work anymore.
