Not quite indestructable but close. The new NEC FC Note can be dropped 90cm onto a steel floor and it will survive it.
The ruggedized NEC Notebook can also operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 celsius. The NEC FC Note is also dust and water splash proof. It can survive a water drop. The FC Note features a backlight keyboard. No prices are set yet, but the NEC FC Note is scheduled to ship October 8th in Japan.
