New DVD Drive burns also Labels

The Samsung Toshiba Storage Joint Venture (TSST) is working on a DVD Drive that can also use its laser to make DVD Labels.
The new TSSD DVD drive uses HP' s LightScribe laser technology. A DVD is inserted into the drive with the label side down. The laser than draws text or photos onto the disc. It only can do one color designs. Slated to be released in HP high-end notebooks in 2005.
