Activision announced today that betas for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Call of Duty: World at War will be released in October. The betas will allow players a chance at early play to practice tactics needed for the new game.
The game puts players in the pacific and European theaters and has a new squad play system and favorites perk and kill streaks. The official launch of the new COD game will be November 11th on the Xbox and PC.
"We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community," says Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. "The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can't wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch."
