HP added new Compaq desktop computers to its business line today with a new series called the Compaq dc7900. The systems are aimed at the enterprise market and include the rp3000 point-of-sale solution geared towards small to medium retail markets.
The rp3000 use an Intel Atom processor and will retail for $699. The dc7900 business desktop is an ultra-slim desktop available in convertable mini tower models or small form factor versions. The systems are 87% power efficient and have the ENERGY STAR 4.0 and EPEAT Gold certifications. The systems start at $599.
