EA Mobile announced that Spore origins will be available on the iPhone, iPod and other mobile devices this month. The iPhone version of the game takes advantage of the accelerometer in the phone allowing players to turn, tilt, and twist through a maze of primordial ooze.

The goal of the game is to feed on the weak life forms and run from the strong in over 35 levels. A Creature Editor allows the customization of the texture, shape, and size of body parts to improve offense, defense, and perception.
