AMD has launched a pair of new professional graphics adapters in the FirePro line called the ATI FirePro V8700 and V3750. The V8700 provides a 40% performance gain in memory intensive applications for those using CAD and digital content creation pros.

The FirePro V3750 is an entry-level card in the pro graphics category. The V3750 has 320 share processing units. The V8700 uses GDDR5 memory and has 800 shader units. Pricing for the V8700 is $1499 and the V3750 goes for $199.
