The Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 is an ultra portable netbook that stands out in design and performance. The U2010 Atom based netbook can be converted into a Tablet PC and runs Windows Vista.
Most netbooks only run XP, because their hardware cannot support Windows Vista. The LifeBook U2010 runs on an Intel Atom CPU Z530 with 1.6GHz and 1GB RAM.
Other features of the Fujitsu LifeBook include 60GB HDD or 64GB SSD, 5.6 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels!, Bluetooth, Wifi, and 1.3MP camera.
Measurements of the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 are 171mm (W) x 135mm (D) x 26.5 - 33.0mm (H).
Taiwanese site HKEPC published a review with several close up photos of the U2010.
The Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 is only available in Asia now. Dynamism is exporting the whole line-up of U2010 devices though. Prices for the U2010 start at $1,449. Uniqueness has its price. It is not clear if Fujitsu will eventually release the U2010 in the States.
