The Locket flash drive is intended to be one central location that allows you to keep all of your vital facts and information safe and secure, but accessible. The device is intended for medical records, contact information, and other vital facts.
The drive can also be used for photos, journals, and recipes. The Locket drive will work on Windows XP, 2003 or Vista computers. The drive has 1Gb of storage space and retails for $109.95 normally. Exactly what type of encryption Locket uses is unknown.
"With identity theft topping the list of the Federal Trade Commission's top consumer fraud complaints again for the seventh year in a row in 2007," Milosch cautions, "consumers need to be aware of and educated on the most secure way to store very private and vital information - and they need to turn to the experts."
