More Portable Devices News
Slacker unveiled the new Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player replacing the first Slacker player introduced in 2007.
The Slacker G2 gives you the freedom to listen to your favorite Slacker Radio stations on a full-featured portable player, wherever you go.
Slacker Personal Radio enables listeners to personalize over 100 expertly programmed stations and create, edit and share their own Personal Radio stations. Slacker listeners also have easy access to artist profiles, album reviews and cover art within the Slacker Web Player and on their Slacker Personal Radio Players.
The same Slacker Personal Radio experience listened to by millions is now completely portable with the Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player. Slacker's patent-pending radio delivery network automatically downloads and continuously refreshes thousands of personally selected songs on each device, and turns them into personalized radio stations, and all for free.
Because the players don't have to be connected to Wi-Fi to play, Slacker G2 owners can listen to CD quality, personalized radio everywhere they go.
Slacker has previously announced licensing arrangements with all of the major record labels and publishers, and thousands of independent labels and publishers, to provide access to millions of songs that can be played online or on Slacker Personal Radio players.
The Slacker G2 features a 2.4 inch color screen, Wifi, USB, Custom EQ and Volume Normalization options, MP3 and WMA player, and available in 25 (4GB) and 40 (8GB) station capacities.
The Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player is available now for purchase at Slacker with an MSRP of $199.99 (25 Stations, 4GB) and $249.99 (40 stations, 8GB).
