Sennheiser Communications has introduced its new VMX Office Bluetooth headset. The headset is aimed at the mobile office worker needing a device that can be used with multiple devices during the day. The VMX Office connects via a base station to normal landline phones, computers, and Bluetooth mobile phones.
The headset is compatible with Bluetooth 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 and toggles easily between devices. Range for the headset is 35 meters from the nearest device. A single button controls changing between devices and volume. The VMX Office is going to be available for purchase in September at an undisclosed price.
As Guido Karbautzki, Sennheiser Communications' Head of Sales and Marketing Communications, says, "Now that more and more people are dividing their time between desk and travel, they're becoming more reliant on mobile phones and VoIP applications running on their notebooks. This emerging 'mobile worker' demographic has a clear need for one headset that connects with everything."
