Navigon announced its latest GPS navigation device called the Navigon 2000S that is priced low and offers features Navigon says are not usually available in its class. The GPS device includes Reality View Pro, Lane Assist Pro, and advanced text-to-speech technology.
The device has a 3.5-inch screen and will retail for $199 in October. Reality View Pro offers photo realistic views of actual road signs for lane guidance and the Lane Assist Pro feature provides clear lane guidance to make sure turns aren’t missed. The system uses the instant fix SIRF InstantFixII Receiver.
"With the 2000S, our goal was to bring NAVIGON's trademark features to a new, accessible level," said Andreas Hecht, NAVIGON's President for the Americas. "The 2000S delivers an experience consumers have grown to expect from NAVIGON products with meaningful features, stylish design, and performance that are unmatched in its class."
