Crysis was one of the coolest and most visually demanding FPS titles to ever hit the PC, and is still one of the most fun games to play. EA and Crytek announced today that the next installment of the Crysis franchise will hit store shelves on September 18th as a PC exclusive.
The game has new single player campaigns with open-ended gameplay and features Crysis Wars, the multiplayer suite for the Crysis universe. The game will retail for only $29.99 and is a standalone game not needing the original Crysis to play.
The game follows Sergeant Psycho Sykes on his adventures that occurred when he left Nomad in the original game. I only hope that the low price doesn’t mean that the single player game is short. The game is built on the new CryENGINE2.
