At the CES in 2006 Panasonic unveiled the 103 inch Plasma HDTV. Panasonic is already selling the 103 inch monster to business users. Now an electronics retailer is offering the 103 inch TH-103PF9UK on Amazon.com for $69.995. This is also the price Panasonic charges for business customers for the TH-103PF9UK.
Panasonic has on their site a promo for the 103 inch Plasma screen geared towards consumers.
The Panasonic TH-103PF9UK features full-HD resolution, 4,000:1, 1,000cd/m2 brightness, and advanced dual picture mode.
Measurements are 55.9"h x 95"w x 5"d and the weight is 485lbs.
The 103 inch Plasma is not the largest Plasma anymore since Panasonic introduced a 150 inch Plasma HDTV at the CES 2008.
I am not sure if Panasonic will just sell the same model of the 103 inch Plasma they sold to business customers before now to consumers. At $70,000 the differentiation is mute in my mind anyway.
The 103 inch Panasonic Plasma HDTV would ship within 1-3 weeks. More details on Amazon.com.
