iRex launches new 10.2 inch eBook Reader 1000 next Week

iRex Technologies, a Philips spin-off, has offered an eBook reader for two years in Europe dubbed iLiad. On Monday the company is revealing a new eBook reader with a 10.2 inch screen aimed at business users. Forbes already published the details about the Reader 1000, before the official launch on Monday.
The iRex Reader 1000 will work with any file format, including e-books, PDF, Word document and HTML. The new Reader 1000 features a touch screen to interact with the documents presented on the E-Ink greyscale screen.
The basic Reader 1000 will sell for about $650. The model with Wi-fi, Bluetooth and a 3G will go for about $850.
