Lexar introduced a new SD card today called the Shoot-n-Sync Wi-Fi Memory Card. The card has 2GB of storage space and can send images wirelessly to your PC. The card can eliminate the need for a card reader at your PC or connecting your camera to the PC via USB.
The Shoot-n-Sync is an Eye-Fi Connected product and uses Eye-Fi technology for sending images to the PC. The card ships with a USB card reader that is needed for a one-time set up process. The card works with both Mac and Vista computers. The photos upload automatically as soon as the camera is in range of your wireless network.
Manisha Sharma, Lexar director of product marketing, noted: "Lexar is committed to delivering innovative products that enhance people's enjoyment of digital photography. The Lexar Shoot-n-Sync Wi-Fi memory card not only provides our customers the reliability and quality of Lexar memory, but the opportunity to enjoy a new level of wireless convenience -- free from the hassles of cables and greatly simplifies transferring photos from camera to PC."
