iRex has announced new eBook readers called the 1000S, 1000SW, and wireless connectivity 1000SW. The 1000S and 1000SW (minus wireless connectivity) are both Wacom pen enabled. The screen is a large 10.2-inch size and very thin.

The wireless connectivity version of the 1000SW has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A stylus is included with the DR1000S that allows the reader to be used as a notebook. All sorts of typical office documents can be sent to the new readers.

The line supports Microsoft Office Documents, emails, PDF, web pages and more. The catch with the new products is the pricing, the readers start at $649.
