A story on What They Play gets some attention today as it talks about Nintendo prepping a new Wii to be released in 2011.
According to the site's sources Nintendo is already showing presentations of a so called Wii HD to developers.
It is of course very natural for Nintendo to step up the graphics power of the Wii in the next generation of the hyper successful console.
Additionally the Wii HD is supposed to be able to handle digital content - a function that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 do today and for sure even more important in 2011 than today.
This rumor of the next generation Wii takes us 3 years into the future and who knows what is going to be hot then. A closer rumor talks about a new Nintendo DS coming this fall.
