A few years ago, looking at family photos meant pulling out old and dusty photo albums and thumbing through photos developed at a lab. After that we went digital and we check our images out on a PC or a digital photo frame. The next step according to PIE United is to view our family photos on a big screen HDTV.
PIE has announced the HD-0310 photo viewer that allows images to be viewed on a big screen TV at full 1080p resolution. In addition to photos, the device allows viewing of video and music playback. The device supports common memory card formats and USB devices. Music in MP3 format can be played and memory card formats including SD, SDHC, MS, and CF are supported.
The device offers 16 transition effects including, slide interval time, random, or sequential playback. For users with limited HDMI inputs the device offers a built-in HDMI connector so you don’t lose a HDMI input for your TV to the photo viewer.
