The 3D online community platform Playstation Home is still slated to launch as open beta in Fall. Currently Playstation Home is in extended beta. MTV sat down with Jack Buser, director of the PlayStation 3 virtual world "Home" project last week to get a demonstration of Playstation Home in its current state.
Mr. Buser took a lot of emphasis on the social aspects of the Playstation Home platform and how it will help PS3 gamers to meet each other and "socialize".
Home is supposed to improve the PS3 gamers life. Of course it looks great while doing it.
Interestingly Sony put a lot of hope in the current Playstation Home beta testers to become helpful citizens. They would like to see them show new users around. Mr. Buser says that Sony will not even launch Playstation Home if they have empty central plazas.

One more very important fact: Your avatar cannot look like an alien - bummer!
